The work of historians is often newsworthy and of great interest to a wide section of the public, but many of us lack the confidence to promote ourselves, our work and our industry to the wider world or generally engage with the media.

This one-day masterclass will give you the skills and help build confidence to engage with the media in ways that are effective and meaningful. The masterclass will be delivered by Wendy McGuinness of Bentley McGuinness Media and will be tailored specifically for professional historians. It will be held in a supportive and friendly environment with time to practice and hone your skills.
