Dr Jill Barnard will be speaking on "Fringe Benefits" - Reflections on the Intangible Rewards of Professional History.

Jill has been a PHA (Vic & Tas) member since 1991. She has pursued a career in professional history predominantly as a consultant in the Living Histories partnership with Sonia Jennings, Mary Sheehan and Karen Twigg. In 2024 she was awarded a PhD from Monash University for her thesis entitled ‘The Family Lives of Forgotten Australians’.
